Joe
holds his B.A. degree from Toccoa Falls College, Toccoa, GA. In
1997 he completed a Master’s Degree in Adult and Community
Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and has served
as Youth Pastor, Pastor of Christian Education, and in his
denominational District as Director of Education serving over
240 churches.
He is currently on the National Staff for The Christian and
Missionary Alliance in the Life Impact Ministries office that
plans and executes conferences for up to 9000 attendees.
Joe is a frequent conference speaker and consultant to churches
and denominations in the area of church planning and
development. He is a popular church ministries seminar teacher
and trainer and is involved in editing and writing articles for
national and regional publications.
He is the founder of the Seniors Ministry for the C&MA Western
Pennsylvania District involving over 3000 individuals over the
age of 60. In 2002, he was appointed the C&MA National Director
of Retire and Refocus Ministries working with adults over the
age of 55.
Joe has also served as a consultant to The International Network
of Children’s Ministry administrative staff that provides
national conferencing for over 4000 children’s leaders each
year. In 2005 he led the development team to establish the INCM
volunteer program. Joe has also served on the INCM international
leadership team, training pastors, leaders and workers in the
United States and abroad.
His hobbies include reading, gourmet cooking, travel and serving
in his local church in the adult education and music
departments. He and his wife Joy have two young adult children.
He resides in Lancaster, PA.
